Clark County Emergency Services
Building a Brighter and Safer Future for Clark County
What We Do
Clark County Local Emergency Preparedness Committee (LEPC)
The Clark County LEPC is made up of all the emergency service agencies within Clark County. This includes Fire Departments, Ambulance District, Health Department, County Sheriff, and Kahoka Police. Additionally, partnerships with supporting agencies and businesses like medical transport (helicopter) agencies, towing companies, local and county-wide businesses, and mutual-aid from surrounding counties and Missouri State.
How We Help
Preparing Today for a Better Tomorrow
Preparing for Emergencies
One of the main reasons Clark County LEPC was founded was to help address lacking capabilities and capacity to respond to emergencies (preparedness) across the entire county.
Building a Team
One of our goals is to ensure that the most vulnerable and at-risk people in Clark County are safe and have their basic needs taken care of during the time of disaster. We're building a team of professionals to address such needs in advance of an emergency.
Hazardous Material
One of our main causes for Clark County LEPC is to ensure Clark County has the means to respond to and mitigate emergencies related to Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT). Dedicated training, coordination of resources, and proper reporting are all HAZMAT preparedness topics overseen by Clark County LEPC.
